So ExcitED!!!

I am SO excited!! First of all on Saturday a bunch of women I work with are going to Salina to a rag rug class. We are going to learn how to crochet strips of rags together and make a rug. Sounds so funny....but FUN!

Second.... Two ladies I work with and I are going to Denver the beginning of April with 8 others from Western Kansas. We are going to the "Worlds Largest Scrap". 11 hours of scrapping!!! New products!! Massage! YEA! I do have to THANK our boss...Amanda. THANK YOU! Thank you! She is going to cover out hours on that Friday afternoon so we can leave and get to the scrap stores before they close. Can't wait!!

Now we are trying to figure out how to get to Kansas City in October. CKU Scrapbook Convention. ?????? We'll see!

Tired

I feel like I just keep saying this over and over. Another fire alarm. #21. Michele was coming back from class and there it was. She decided it was a good time to run her errands. Might as well use her time wisely!!

Friday...Michele ran in the WSU..Tulsa..FHSU Track meet. What an experience!! Glada and I drove down in the morning and visited family. She spent time with Dennis, Vicki, Cara & Kim. Michele and I stayed with Jenny, Mike, Taylor & Hay. What fun!! Michele looked good! But boy were thos girls fast!

FINALLY!

SATURDAY!! Finally!! This last week was back to work for "5" whole days!! That sure can make a person tired. The holidays sure do take a toll on your body. Today Michele and Andy are going to Manhattan to watch the Girls KSU vs. KS basketball game. Roger is at work. And me...... I'm going to take a me day! I'm going to stay in my jammies ALL day long and ............ Scrapbook!! YEA!!!

January 1, 2009.... WOW!! So much has happened this last year. And I'm sure so much WILL happen in the new year. My favorite saying.... "Time sure does fly when you are having fun!" We are truely blessed for everything we have in our lives.

First of all you have probably figured out that we are in Topeka for a few days visiting Miss Jessica. Yesterday afternoon Michele and I went to the FHSU vs. Washburn girls basketball game while Jessica worked. We wore our FHSU shirts and then sat in the Washburn student section. HAHA

Jessica brought in the New Year with her cousin Alan... his wife Miranda...and Alan's cousin Mark. (who is not Jessica's cousin) Michele and I decided to bring in the New Year together. Which was fun... by the way!! The fireworks at midnight were just crazy! Crazy enough that we even seen someone shooting others with bottle rockets ....... MAN DOWN!! Oh my! Last but least Roger.... he slept thru the New Year. What a guy!! We will be going home tomorrow afternoon.... kind of miss the old man. :-)
