Day after May 9. . . . . .

As you can very well imagine, the day after is V.E.R.Y exhausting.  We started out with the plan for the bride and groom to open their wedding gifts.  Ummmmm. . . . It didn't happen.  Really?  Who doesn't want to open presents???

Nobody was moving very fast at all.  In all the going ons on Saturday, the groom forgot his tennis shoes.  So. . . . . he was a little grumpy.  Then when the bride and groom took a look at their vehicle. . . . . .well. . . . . . 

Us.  We LAUGHED!!

Gabe was ready for the 5 hour energy drink. . . . . WAIT!  Ummmmm. . . . . . . . let's just say it wasn't an energy drink.  :-)

Now we know where the best man and guys were at when they went missing.  :-)

Thank you Denny & Robyn for helping us try to keep the mess from blowing all over.  

In the end. . . . . . it blew all over.

Graduation. . .

 Almost 2 months ago. . . . . I GOTTA get better at this!!  Courtney graduated from Otis-Bison High School the weekend after Jessica & Gabe got married.  What a whirlwind of weekends.

I've been waiting to get the disk to share pictures from the wedding.  I know it takes a bit, but come on people!!  I'm excited to share!!

The week after Jessica's wedding M started having troubles with her knee.  

Yes.  This is the knee that has had 5 surgeries.  The one they have broke and put back together.  The one that she had to do physical therapy 5 days a week for 1 1/2 years.  The right leg has had 1.  She didn't think she had gotten that crazy at the wedding dance, but it sure acted like she had.  She waited it out.  But the knee won. 

 A week ago last Thursday she had knee surgery number 7.  And once again they found that knee cap on the side.  Dang!  This just keeps happening.  She had thought that she'd be off work just Thursday and Friday, but it didn't work out that way.  Let's just say she worked the next Friday and it was a struggle.  On Wednesday she had to go in and have the stitches taken out early.  Seems she was allergic to the nylon.  Hopefully she is on the uphill side and doesn't have to have this done every few years.  

She has the knees of a 80 year old who needs knee replacements.  But in a 25 year old body who is not old enough for the knee replacements.  :(

Subject: Error in Name Change Process

Hey everyone,

We’re working to sort out an error in Jessica’s name change and I thought I’d just cc everyone involved so everyone knows what’s happening.

During the name change proccess “Jessica Ummel” should have been removed from FHLBSecurity and “Jessica Pierce” added.

What actually happened was that “Michele Ummel” was removed and “Jessica Pierce” was added.

The result is that we now have “Jessica Ummel” and “Jessica Pierce” but no “Michele Ummel.”

Below are screenshots of Tripwire and the SQL showing what we have currently.

We are working to correct this.  Thanks!

When I seen this I knew I just had to share!! Roger works.  I shop :)

Actually. . . . . . Roger is starting a new chapter in his life with Blueknight Energy Partners.  He has been hauling crude oil for almost 31 years exactly.  But come Monday there will be a B.I.G. change in our lives.  No longer will there be a crude oil truck lingering around The Ummel's.  Roger is making the transition to Operations Technical Support.  Instead of driving the truck he will have a company pickup.  Instead of hauling crude oil he will be a "paper pusher".  Ohhhhh I like the sound of that.  :-)

Please forgive my lateness!  As you know, I was a "little" busy this last weekend.  :-)  

We rested.  Roger went back to work.  I rested a little more.  And today I got a massage.  I think I'm on the upside of the hill now.  Unpacking everything and then packing decorations for Taylor's wedding to give to my sister. Soon I will be on picture overload!!
