miss Courtney. . . .

Last Friday I took Courtney to Wichita for her Senior pictures. (Aunt Sharon rode along) My sister, Jenny,  has a nurse friend that takes pictures on the side and has previously taken pictures of Taylor and Haylee.  It was a good weekend.  We had so much fun!  And I can't wait to see the end results.

The last few years of drought has not been well for our wind break.  Not well at all.  Of course it has not been well for any one's.  So at the beginning of the summer, when we realized almost all our cedar trees were dead, we decided to have them taken out.  Amazing what a guy in a big machine can do in just a handful of hours.  Amazing what it looks like when even dead trees are removed.

He was like a kid in a candy store.  Asked if he could buy one.  $80,000.  Ummmmmm. . . . . NO!

birthday. . . . .

Last weekend was my birthday. :)  My 40 something {cough} {cough}.  Really, I don't have a problem with my age.  I don't have a problem with turning 48.  :0   I however can NOT believe that my babies are 27 and 24!  Wow!   Does time fly when you are having fun!

Last Sunday we met these silly people for dinner.

Then Roger and I did our usual ~ shopping.  Excited to say this is my birthday present!!  You would understand if you have been out sanding boards in our shed this summer.  

 

My daughters know me too well!  I got this from Jessica.  And Michele took me here when I helped her paint to say Thank you and Happy Birthday.  Smart girls!!
