New CaR!!! :-)

Both the girls were home this last weekend. What a joy! We do so enjoy them....especially since it is just now Roger, I and the dogs the rest of the time. What a BUSY weekend!

~Jessica bought a 2008 Dodge Avenger.... Way to go Jess!!! We are SOOOOOO proud of you!
~Visited Gma Ummel and Audie
~Planted about 20 trees and 10 bushes
~Cooked turkey, mashed tatoes, string beans, gravy and rolls
~Jessica made her Dad a pan of brownies
~Washed clothes and dried them in the shed..... haha....(my dryer had quit on Wednesday, so Roger hooked up the old dryer in the shed....)
~Went to town and got a new fuse for the dryer.....YES.....it worked!
~Michele packed up her car full.....she is moving next week into a house....WAY to go Mishi!!!!
~AND.....a few naps

Busy weekend.......

Prayers PLEASE!

Do prayers really work??? You bet! God has listened. Now we need to ask everyone to say a prayer with us for our Doctor....... Dr. Locke. Last week he found out he has the "C" word. Yesterday he started some biotherapy (different than chemotherapy) in Kansas City. Sounds like it is going to be a ToUGh ride. What a WONDERFUL family. Their older daughter Erin is in medical school and is to get married on June 6 (Please Lord let her Daddy live to see this day!)..... Nathan is a year younger than Jessica and is going to KU. He also wants to go to medical school. Cameron is the same age as Michele and is ALSO at KU..... you guessed it.... wants to be a doctor too. And Kirsten...she is a junior here at Trego High. She once told Michele she just isn't sure the doctor way is for her. But you never know. Being an employee at our hospital has really hit hard. This is a guy who would do ANyTHing for you. And HAS done everything for our community. He has even coached Michele in MAYB Basketball. Not to mention being there thru Michele's injuries. And even since she left for college..... when he see's her he asks how college is doing.... then asks how her health is. I'm sorry if I sound like a broken record. Just tonight.....when you go to bed....say an extra prayer. And Dr. Locke....... God does listen! And he IS listening. He is hearing all of the prayers and is thinking.....this guy is a wonderful doctor and a wonderful man. I think we'll keep him around for a while longer.

Olivia....Trego Graduation

I haven't decided yet....but this might be my most favorite paper bag album so far. A lady I work with had me make it for her daughters graduation. There are gold tags in it that their Graduation guests can sign on them. I just like the bright purple and gold. If you knew this girl.....it fits her perfectly!!! Lots of tags and ribbon!!! :-)

Baby

This is the third album I have made for Roxie. It is for Baby ?????. It kind of looks like the album I made for Alan and Miranda. Or at least the same colors.

WSU Track

On Saturday Michele ran at the WSU Track meet. It was a good day for all. She ran very well..... and bettered her times. Way to go Michele! Jessica made a trip from Topeka to see her sister run for the first and last time. Also coming to the meet was..... Gpa and Gma Kaler, Char, Jenny, Taylor and Haylee. What a cheering squad! The only bad part of the day was that the weather played games with us... We thought it was nice and cool.....perfect day for a sunburn! Poor Char!

Before going to Michele's track meet, Jessica and I joined Dennis, Vicki, Cara and Cara's friend Kate at Kim's soccer game. Looking good Kim!!!! :-)

What a wonderful weekend! We had a absolute blast!!!! But boy were we tired and ready to sleep in our own beds. Next week I'm going to Michele's track meet at Kearney. In a couple days I will post some of our pictures.........

Baby Girl

This is some of the 2nd album I've made for Roxie. As I said before....the pictures don't do them justice! Pink....pink...pink! I just love little girls! Wonder why...haha.

Friday morning I'm heading for Wichita. FHSU has an outdoor track meet there on Saturday. I really hope that the weather turns out to be nice. We are in Kansas however and you just really never know. Can't wait!
