March 25th! I can't believe the month is almost over.  And A.N.O.T.H.E.R. trip to Topeka.

Courtney and I left early last Friday.  Road trippin to Topeka.  We got there in time to spend a few minutes visiting the girls at work.  Then we were off!  A little shopping and then a meeting at the Downtown Ramada.  That wedding is getting closer and closer!!!!

Friday evening we then spent at Michele and Nicks.

Saturday morning we were off looking for prom dresses.  Man that was tough!!  There were just not very many out there.  Most of the shops were saying that their shipments are late coming in this year.  Sorry to say we did not find one in Topeka.  We ran out of time as we had Jessica's bachlorette party to head too.  But we did find one on the way home in Salina.  YEAH!!

Our first stop was Texas Roadhouse.  A nice supper with everyone! And they even announced that Jessica was there celebrating getting married  and had everyone give her a big YEEEEEHHHHAAAAWWWW!

A gift from her best friend. . . . . :)

Then were off to paint.....
Paint Therapy Uncorked

If you think you can't paint. . . . you can! I'm definitely going back!

Bridal Shower pictures to come in the next post. . . . .

Can you believe this weather?  And this weeks coming weather. . . . just wow!  How can it be more beautiful the beginning of March!

Roger, Jorge and I made a very quick trip to Topeka this weekend.  Roger worked most the day on Friday and then we were off.  On Saturday Roger got his tux fitted.  (Thank goodness! We'd hate for him to walk his daughter down the isle in his undies. )  Then Jessica and I had a meeting with the church wedding planners.  My oh my do these ladies have experience!  They brought up things that we hadn't even thought of.  They will be well worth their tiny fee for the things they will be helping us with before, during and after the wedding.  Their goal is to take care of everything so all we need to do is enjoy.  Sounds great to me!

During our meeting at the church Roger, Jorge and Marley went to Michele's so Roger could meet Nemo.  When your dog is 8 years old it sure brings back memories of a busy puppy after visiting most the afternoon.  Kind of funny to watch Jorge and Marley being lazy, but Nemo being the busy beaver.

We left for home about 6 pm on Saturday.  Jessica had started to get a cold on Friday, but by Saturday afternoon she was feeling pretty poor.  And just about the time we decided to just head on home Roger got messages from work.  For a while there he thought he'd have to go right back to work, but it all worked out in the end.

So that leaves us to today.
Tired.
Lazy.
Sitting in chair with my feet up.
Doing nothing kind of day!

knock on wood. . . .

Didn't work!  :-(

Well. . . . I guess it did.  But it didn't.

I didn't end up with the flu.  But the cold finally got the best of me and turned into something.  So on Friday Dr. Doug prescribed me an antibiotic.  And I'm happy to say I'm feeling better.  Waaaahoooooo!  Maybe now I can get back to the wedding "stuff".  The time is creeping up.  Have I said I just L.O.V.E. our Doctor??  Oh my I DO!!  Some people may think that small town america stinks, but where else can you get this kind of service.

A couple weeks ago Jessica was home for the weekend and we worked on wedding invitations.

These went out in the mail.  And I'm happy to say the RSVP's are rolling back in.  I have never found going out to my mailbox so fun!  Usually I leave it for Roger to get after he gets home.  But not now!!  It is sooooo exciting!

And of course I have to share this. . . .

Isn't he just so stinking cute??
