Run Mishi! RUN!

Fort Hays State University held their outdoor track meet yesterday. It was to be on Saturday, but with the snow storm forcast they pushed it to Sunday. Considering the other side of the state had "feet" of snow.....Hays was just about beautiful. Or at least till the wind really started blowing late in the afternoon. Then it was cold. After the meet was over Roger and I took Michele and her roomate Kacey out to eat supper. Beats the cafeteria food!!! (Or that is what they told us)

Snow?..........NOT!

I can't believe it! We were to get snow. Lots of snow. But got NO SNOW! Go figure.

Surprise!!!!

Saturday there was a SURPRISE baby shower in Topeka for Miranda. And was it ever a SURPRISE!!!! What fun we had! Visiting family!!!!!! And I tell you what, that Teagan is ADORABLE. We can't wait for Miranda and Alan to have their baby in June! We LOVE the babies!! (As if you can't tell in the pictures....TEAGAN!) It was a VERy fast trip, but well worth it. Michele and I didn't get back home till a little after 1am this morning. And since Jessica lives in Topeka, we had a grand time with her. She is such a silly girl! Too bad we couldn't have spent more time with her, but Michele had track practice today to get too....darn! I plan on spending a few days with her in May when we have her graduation party........we are SO proud!

Spring Break.....

Today was the start of our Spring Break....or should I say Spring Crack? haha Michele gets a Spring Break. Jessica and I get a Spring Crack as we will both go back to work next Wednesday. Roger gets.... to go to work. Stinks to be him but I guess somebody around here has to go to work to pay the bills. :-)

We visited Mom, Dad and Char today. Had a really nice visit. Sometimes we get so caught up in our own lives that we have troubles getting there and visiting. I think we just need to all slow down!! And make time!! They were getting ready to repaint Char's bedroom. And of course she loves that. I'm not sure that Dad was excited, but I guess if it make the women of the house happy...then he is happy.

Tomorrow we are going to enjoy the nice weather and work out in the windbreak. The sun should feel good!

Today has been such a beautiful day! Talk about nice. I have been cleaning house most of the day. Washing clothes. Even have the windows open and letting some fresh air in. Then Roger and I decided to give my plants a drink. Boy were they dry. Just a beautiful day!

The girls will be home the end of the week. Spring Break! Yea! Jessica will be here probably Thursday night till the next Tuesday. And Michele will be here the whole Spring Break. Except for Thursday. Her and a friend have volunteered to help with a basketball team at the Special Olympics. Then on that Friday Michele and I are going to Topeka to see Jessica. FUN! FUN!

Fun Fun

This weekend was so much fun! First of all both of the girls were home. We hadn't seen Jessica since the New Year. They both came home Friday afternoon. That sure perks the house up! Then on Saturday Roger and both the girls went to see Gma Ummel. And I went to town to spend the day scrapbooking with a bunch of friends. We had a blast! Now I'm all ready for Denver!!! YEA!!! Sometimes you just have to stop and smell the roses! Life goes by way too fast to not stop and have some fun.
