Michele here... As most of you know I graduated from FHSU this past weekend. We started the day early at Gross Memorial Coliseum in Hays. I received my Bachelors of Business Administration with an emphasis in Management Information Systems. It was a great feeling of achievement to walk across that stage!! After that, everyone came back to our house to help us celebrate! We had good food, amazing cake and took a lot of photos! Then, we shot some clays and hit golf balls into the pasture to end the evening! It wouldn't be an Ummel gathering without some redneck entertainment, hehe. Everyone else hit the hay while I went back to Hays to celebrate with friends. What a great weekend! Thanks to all of our family and friends who came out to help us celebrate! I love you all and I am so very blessed!! Now... onto the next phase of my life!

In a little over the month. . . . . . . our baby girl will be graduating from college. The years have went by way to fast!

and one to go!  Whew!  What a packed weekend!  Roger & I left for Topeka on Friday afternoon to start moving Jessica.  Michele had a banquet with Alpha Kappa Psi so she stayed in Hays.  Sounded like she had lots of fun.  Anyways. . . . . . after a lot of work, we got it done.  Yeah!!!!!  And kudos's to Jessica.  Such a hard worker.  Especially after being sick last week.  Her leg was VERY swollen and she had such a nasty bruise. She ended up going to the doctor and then they sent her to the lab.  They decided her counts were high and thought she could have a blood clot.  She then ended up going for an ultra sound.  Thank goodness they couldn't find any blood clots!!!!!  So, while she was suppose to be taking it easy . . . . . . she was working her behind off.  Love you Jessica!  

So what a busy May we will have!  This next weekend Roger & I are "going away".  The next weekend Cara is graduating.  The 19th Jessica, Michele & I have reserve tickets to see Tim McGraw.  ANd then on the 21st we are moving Michele to Topeka.

WSU Track

On Saturday Michele ran at the WSU Track meet. It was a good day for all. She ran very well..... and bettered her times. Way to go Michele! Jessica made a trip from Topeka to see her sister run for the first and last time. Also coming to the meet was..... Gpa and Gma Kaler, Char, Jenny, Taylor and Haylee. What a cheering squad! The only bad part of the day was that the weather played games with us... We thought it was nice and cool.....perfect day for a sunburn! Poor Char!

Before going to Michele's track meet, Jessica and I joined Dennis, Vicki, Cara and Cara's friend Kate at Kim's soccer game. Looking good Kim!!!! :-)

What a wonderful weekend! We had a absolute blast!!!! But boy were we tired and ready to sleep in our own beds. Next week I'm going to Michele's track meet at Kearney. In a couple days I will post some of our pictures.........

Baby Girl

This is some of the 2nd album I've made for Roxie. As I said before....the pictures don't do them justice! Pink....pink...pink! I just love little girls! Wonder why...haha.

Friday morning I'm heading for Wichita. FHSU has an outdoor track meet there on Saturday. I really hope that the weather turns out to be nice. We are in Kansas however and you just really never know. Can't wait!

Run Mishi! RUN!

Fort Hays State University held their outdoor track meet yesterday. It was to be on Saturday, but with the snow storm forcast they pushed it to Sunday. Considering the other side of the state had "feet" of snow.....Hays was just about beautiful. Or at least till the wind really started blowing late in the afternoon. Then it was cold. After the meet was over Roger and I took Michele and her roomate Kacey out to eat supper. Beats the cafeteria food!!! (Or that is what they told us)

This afternoon Michele received an "Academic Athletic Award". Ya Michele! Sometimes we just need to stop and remember why we go to college. Way to go!! Keep it up!

Friday...Michele ran in the WSU..Tulsa..FHSU Track meet. What an experience!! Glada and I drove down in the morning and visited family. She spent time with Dennis, Vicki, Cara & Kim. Michele and I stayed with Jenny, Mike, Taylor & Hay. What fun!! Michele looked good! But boy were thos girls fast!
