Happy Father's Day!

Today is Father's Day!!!! Happy Father's Day to my daughter's great Father, my wonderful Father and also my husband's Father. (Father's can still be special in heaven.)

Our lives have been very busy, so with this post I'm catching up just a little.......

Friday~
~Friday was Vicki's birthday..... Happy Birthday Vicki! Wow.....50! Time sure does fly by!
~Michele got out of the hospital after dinner. Then we went to physical therapy.(Which went well!) After that... home! BUT.... 4 hours later we ended up back in the ER. She started having trouble focusing and seeing out of her left eye. It dilated. When I called the Ortho Doctor, he wanted her seen in the ER to make sure she didn't have an blood clot or something worse. So.... that is where we went. They did blood work for a blood clot and also a CT to make sure she didn't have a brain bleed. It was ALL GOOD! Thank goodness. Ended up being she was allergic to the nausea patch they had put behind her ear for her surgery. One.... it made her itch like crazy and two.... they think she may have touched it while itching and then touched her eye. That is what made her eye dilate. This morning it is doing much better! Almost back to normal. Her knee is also doing well. Her bending is finally coming!!!! YEAH!!!! Hopefully the doctor is right and this surgery will progress faster than the last. And we have very high hopes that this will be the LAST!

Saturday~
~Roger, Glada and Audrey went to Wichita for the day. They spent the day with Vicki celebrating her 50th Birthday. Again... Happy Birthday Vicki! From the sounds of it, they had a wonderful visit. All of Vicki's kids and grandkids were there. Plus other friends and family dropped in.
~Mom & Dad were also in Wichita this weekend. They left Friday after Mom's doctor visit and after also visiting Mishi in the hospital. They then met Dustin. Courtney and Cody went onto Wichita with them. What a busy weekend they have had. Jenny is moving this week, so they ALL were helping her pack and haul boxes to the garage. They called several times to see how Mishi was doing. And from the sounds of it.... having a FUN FUN time!
~Jessica stayed in Topeka this weekend as she had to work..... yuck!
~And..... Mishi & I.......we just stayed at home. Rested. Kind of felt sorry for ourselves as everyone else was out and about. But you do what you need to do. And making Mishi well is the plan!!! We are now on the uphill side of this!!!

Today we still plan on resting and relaxing. I've got housework and wash to get done. But other than that, just little odds and ends. Maybe I'll be able to get a little sewing done. Who knows. Mishi will start back tomorrow with physical therapy 5 days a week. If her eye is still a problem, we have Grandma and Grandpa Kaler coming and taking her. Then Tuesday is my day off. If we still need to take her on Wednesday, I will work till noon and then take her. We'll see after that. BUT have hopes that since the eye was much better this morning, it will be normal tomorrow. Guess we'll see!
