my girl. . . . .

This week has gone by way to fast! Maybe it was because Jessica and Marley has been here since Monday. Every so often Jessica has to come to this side of the state for work. She is all over the place while here. Beloit, WaKeeney, Ness City, Oberlin, Phillipsburg and Beloit again. And she gets to work it all out so she stays with us. But today. . . . . they are heading back east. Boo! The house is now quiet. Jorge is already asleep on the back of the couch. 

Now it's back to just boring ole' us!

I THINK that Michele will be taking a few extra days off over Easter weekend. So we now have that to look forward too. Not sure about Jessica and Marley. Either way, we enjoy our time with either or both of our girls. And I'm sure that Roger enjoys them here. He then knows that I will be cooking. And that is far and few inbetween when it is just us.

What a nice weekend we had ! Jessica & Marley got here late Friday night . It was so nice to just sit and visit . On Saturday Roger & Jessica then went to the farm to help his Mom . Sounds like they took down the old wash house and did some cleaning up .  Then Audrey and Jessica worked on pruning the lilac bushes .  After the long day we had Jessica's favorite . . . . . bbq'd steaks ! Yesterday was a lazy day . ( for Jessica & I )  Roger worked . Jessica & I slept in . Then we headed for Hays . Picked Michele up . Did some shopping . Had dinner . Did some more shopping . Then Jessica & I came home . We spent most the evening with us working in the backyard . Just a nice . . . . quiet . . . . weekend .  The end of the month we move Jessica from her house into the duplex that her and Michele are leasing . Then we move Michele to Topeka the middle of May . Got to go find my muscles !!  Have a GREAT week !!

Finally! Jorge has a girl~friend! It took a few visits, but they are now friends. They do fine until Jorge gets tired, and then he don't play well with others. Gets a little grumpy. But hopefully it will get better and better every time. 

 And when Marley gets tired....... :-)

Do they like each other? Well....Marley has ADHD. Jorge has grumpy butt. Does that answer the question?? But it looks like they both like their pillows!
